Dear CASA Supporter,

Welcome to Voz de los Niños, your monthly newsletter keeping you in the know of all things CASA of El Paso!

  Volunteer Spotlight
This month our Volunteer Spotlight is shining on Jennifer Dominguez.  Jennifer worked a case with three siblings, all who have found adoptive placements.  These children were in the system for over three years and Jennifer was the advocate on the case for the whole time!  We are honored to have such a loyal, committed person as part of the CASA of El Paso family. Thank you Jennifer!
Thank You Reception
CASA of El Paso will be expressing our gratitude to Representative Naomi Gonzalez for her work during the past Texas legislative session.  As you may recall, Rep. Gonzalez co-authored HB 915, regarding the use, monitoring and administration of psychotropic drugs for use on foster youth.  We will be holding a reception in her honor on Wednesday November 20 to express our gratitude for her ongoing support of CASA  and our foster children. All volunteers are welcome to join us to meet with the Representative, thank her for her support and discuss things related to CASA of El Paso.

CASA in the Community
CASA of El Paso has been busy out in the community this month!  We have had a presence at many things, including multiple events at UTEP, Western Refining and United Way rallies.  The greater our presence in the community, the more people will know what we do and who we are.  It all helps us work towards our mission of providing an advocate for each and every child in foster care.
Do you have an opportunity for CASA in the community?  If so, contact with the details.  Together we can grow!
Thank you to volunteers Carolina Moncloa, Jeaneth Moreno-Payne and Carmen Rodriguez (not pictured) for helping at UTEP!
