Dear CASA Supporter,

Welcome to Voz de los Niños, your monthly newsletter keeping you in the know of all things CASA of El Paso!

Volunteer Spotlight
This month's volunteer spotlight shines on Ricardo Benavente!  Ricardo is a seasoned CASA volunteer, going on his 8th year as a passionate and dedicated advocate.  He is very determined when it comes to the kids he serves and is tireless in his advocacy.  No matter what else is going on in his life, he continues with his case, keeping in touch with everyone involved and never stepping down from what he feels is best for his CASA child.
We are honored Ricardo has chosen to be a part of CASA and are grateful for his dedication and loyalty!
Welcome to our new CASA Volunteers!
Our most recent Swearing In ceremony was on October 7th, when we welcomed 9 new advocates into the CASA family.  This group of volunteers is made up of representatives from the UTEP Law School Preparation Institute, both active duty military and military spouses as well as members of the community at large. We know these new volunteers are going to do a great job!  Welcome to the family!!

 CASA in the Community
CASA of El Paso is an annual participant in Western Refining's Health Fair.  The fair was held on Saturday October 10th and was very well attended!
We have also been at a variety of United Way rallies this month. Lastly, hopefully you've seen our ads as you've supported our UTEP Miner football team!  We have ads running on the big screen as well as print ads in the program.
